WebJul 3, 2010 · Apparently, stock grips (.580 and .600 diameter) will not fit on the shaft due to the wider diameter of the bubble shaft. You really need a special, plastic applicator tube in order to get Bubble grips on sucessfully (or, at least, [i]easily [/i]) since the flared nature of the big-butt shaft makes it nigh on impossible to get the grips on in the normal way. As for grips, the best bet is to go with the stock OEM grips, both produced by Lamkin.
