WebDec 28, 2024 · CPU fan runs occaisionally and only at what seems like full speed. When I startup into the BIOS there are no issues - all fans report speed and the CPU fan runs relatively quietly (using stock fan from Intel). I am able to put my fans to 5000 rpm. Firstly, you open the program, click 'sensors', then at the bottom is a small fan icon. Click that and you can control your fans. Choose a speed then click the 'manual' button which will set the speed.
WebJun 25, 2024 · The CPU cooler is a Noctua NH-U12S, it is plugged into the CPU connector (not pump or ext) and it does spin just fine. It is a PWM fan and it is set as such in BIOS. I am on the latest BIOS, 7D25vA3. Problem: the CPU cooler is not detected by BIOS, showing 0 rpm in Hardware Monitor.
