What I do remember is the two position disc mode which is almost like the Tejon with its trigger. Comparing the two is easy. The Vaquero is not as deep, but easier to use and lighter too. I started out with a 1220x in 1982 and used the 1260x, 1265x, and the 1266x for many hundreds of hours coin hunting and found a ton of old silver and copper coins.
