Web22 aug. 2015 · They were made from 1980-1990, so won't necessarily need a full refurbishment like the older Mc amps, but it probably couldn't hurt. I think the price is fair, but I'd try to audition it with your gear before buying if possible. I do think it or another older McIntosh amplifier would give you the sound you're looking for.
